We took the train from Bishkek to Moscow
Total cycled distance on 03.08.2003: 10903km

Mareike unfortunately had an accident on our last day in Kyrgyzstan.
When we rode down a bumpy road with fairly high speed a water bottle fell of my bike.As Mareike tried to avoid it she hit a stone and fell. Some cycle parts were brocken and Mareike had a bad wound at her ankle which made further cycling impossible. Luckily nothing was broken and the injury was bearable on a train ride.
We were surprised how quickly the 78 hours in the train passed by. We were either talking with Ivona from Warzawa read a book or just relaxed. The only drawback in the train were some "extra passengers" which filled the train. This people do not have a ticket and bribe the corrupt conductors. A lot of them come from Tadjikistan and go to work in Moscow. So it is understandable that they try to get the cheapest option to get there.
